Hmmmm.... I seem to remember Seared had an article like that, though now that I think on it, his was called "Gunning the Tech Tree"... I'll see if I can dig that one up to complement Rabi's.

Edit: Seared was quite a prolific giver of advice back when he was here, and started more than a few topics and guides. Not meaning to detract from Rabi's thread, but here's a link to topics Seared has participated in. Some good gems in there, if you're patient enough to search them out.

You wouldn't happen to have your old post laying about somewhere labeled 'First in Tech'?

I'm playing on Regent level now and I'm lagging behind in tech BADLY. I'm trying to trade techs with them, but I have nothing they want. Now I need more room and the only way to go is up against the Inca who have gunpowder to my barely gotten Medievel Infantry. :ermm:
