We could attack now but we would finish in a position much worse than our current one and that is no way to conduct a war. Im sure we would win any war we conducted now but i feel it would be too costly and could leave us open to an attack from a 3rd party. </P><P>It would set back our city development. It would cause us to hastily built improvements without considering all factors. Emphasis would be place on unit production and not a balance of Units and improvements which we could do if we gave ourselves more time. Shite cities will do nothing for us.</P><P>It would severely damage our economy. French vessels will destroy alot of our boats. The amount of units we would need to effectively bloody frances nose will be unproportionate to our current size.</P><P>Bad economy poor tech. We would fall behind quickly to the nations not involved. Plus we could also annoy some who are sympathetic to france thus preventing us from trading with them. </P><P>Overall if this campaign is rushed we could effectively destroy any chance of victory. I have set forth to lay a strong foundation of planning for a war with france. I also feel that we should have some form of war plan for each nation. Its only prudent. But charging blindly into a war will be devastating at best.
