Because it's twice as much work. I don't mind doing it, but if most, if not all, that compete in the GOTM have Warlords, then it's not much point to make a GOTM for both.

Yes.. the next one will be for Warlords. Do we still need a Vanilla CivIV GOTM or do most have Warlords now?

I got the warlords tonight!!!! I was going to install it, but I signed on to MSN to see if Zone was around to ask him something, and I ended up having a conversation with someone from Saudi Arabia, mysteriously added to my buddy list, mostly in Arabic. I didn't have a clue what he was saying for the most part, could read the script, and made great use on online translator, but we seemed to be able to communicate ok. I still haven't the foggiest how he knew me though. :w00t:

Anyways, Onwards and Upwords with the Warlords!

Will we be seeing Warlords GOTM this time around?

Thanks for the heads up, bro! I checked it out on the online store and that is indeed the case. Of course, purchasing it online only makes it a little bit cheaper than the alternative, due to shipping and what not, but there's a CC just down the road for me to go to after work! :D

Warlords is on sell this week at circuit city for $17.99 I bought a copy on weds. sells ends on friday the 18th:cool:

I felt it was a bit too soon this month for a Warlords GOTM. Next month there will likely be two GOTM's, one for each.

25 was on best buy.com. It was listed as 29.99, but it had a 5 dollar off special if you bought it through their web site. Other places I looked had it around 30. But still that's not much more...

That does seem pretty reasonable. When it first came out, I saw local stores boosting the expansion right up to the $50 standard for new releases. Perhaps I'll take a look around. ;)

you know what, Bismarck, I didn't have plans to purchase the game either, right away, but then I went and looked on Best Buy.com and saw it was only 25.00 dollars, I was thinking it would be closer to 50, but it's not, so I think I'm going to pick it up within a month or so!

I don't have any plans on purchasing Warlords any time soon. For a expansion, it's my opinion that it should've included more then what I've heard has been. Though, I believe I've read that there would be a seperate GOTM for Warlords (no?).

You planning on organizing anything for Warlords, Mongoose? From the threads on here I reckon most of the active Civ IV players also got a hold of Warlords (feel free to post if this is a wrong conclusion).

With the arrival of Warlords I haven't played any vanilla Civ IV anymore, so I wouldn't mind if the September game was Warlords. Then again, I don't know how everyone else feels about that, so feel free to post!
