The draft is as follows:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Article of Law I&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Elections for public office&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I The president&lt;BR&gt;   a) The people shall be given a campaign period of seven (7) days in which to announce their candidacy for the office of president.&lt;BR&gt;   b) All such announcements of candidacy are to be made by creation of a new thread in the Election Campaigns board, and this thread shall serve as the candidates' campaign area.&lt;BR&gt;   c) After the seven (7) day campaign period, the Supreme Court will declare a candidate President if he is unopposed, or organize an election if there are multiple candidates.&lt;BR&gt;   d) The aforementioned election will consist of a poll to be open to all citizens, and listing all candidates and also an "abstain" option.  This poll shall run for three (3) days.&lt;BR&gt;   e) After the three (3) days have expired, the Supreme Court shall close the poll and declare the candidate with the most votes the new President.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;II The Senate&lt;BR&gt;   a) The people shall be given a campaign period of seven (7) days to announce their candidacy for one (1) specific Senate House seat.&lt;BR&gt;   b) All such announcements of candidacy are to be made by creation of a new thread in the Election Campaigns board, and this thread shall serve as the candidates' campaign area.&lt;BR&gt;   c) After the seven (7) day campaign period, the Supreme Court will declare a candidate Senator of his selected House if he is unopposed, or organize elections for specific Houses if there are multiple candidates for said Houses.&lt;BR&gt;   d) Elections for specific Houses will consist of a poll open to all citizens, listing all candidates for said House, and also an "abstain" option.  This poll will run for three (3) days.&lt;BR&gt;   e) After the three (3) days have expired, the Supreme Court shall close the polls for all Houses and declare the candidate with the most votes in his specific House the Senator of said House. &lt;P&gt;III The Princips&lt;BR&gt;   a) The Senators shall be given a campaign period of seventy-two (72) hours to announce their qualifications and desire for the position of Princips.&lt;BR&gt;   b) All such announcements are to be made by creation of a new thread in the Election Campaigns board, and this thread shall serve as the candidates' campaign area.&lt;BR&gt;   c) At the end of the seventy-two (72) hour campaign period, the Supreme Court shall organize an election.&lt;BR&gt;   d) This election shall consist of a thread open to be read by all, but replied to only by Senators.  The thread will list all Senators by alphabetical order of their respective House, and also an "abstain" option.  Senators are to vote for their choice of Princip by reply. The thread shall be closed after forty-eight (48) hours, or when all Senators have voted, whichever comes first. &lt;BR&gt;   e) After the forty-eight (48) hours have expired, or the entirity of the Senate has voted, the Supreme Court will close the thread, and announce the Senator with the highest number of votes Princip.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;---------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All votes are to be cast in person with a call of Aye if in favor, Nay if not in favor, or Abstain if indifferent to the proposed draft.</description><pubDate>Thu, 24 May 2007 23:03:31 GMT</pubDate><dc:creator>psweetman1590</dc:creator></item></channel></rss>
