Greetings...

Has anyone else experienced the game locking up in "Please wait" during the AI turn because of way too many units in the game?
My last game suffered from this. It was pretty late when it happened, and I'd experienced massive slowdowns before, so I just went to bed. In the morning, it was still stuck. I sat and thought about it some, then decided to try an experiment. I went in and disbanded about 150 units garrisoning in my interior cities. Sure enough it flew right through the trouble spot.

Sounds like a memory hole, or a really bad allocation bug to me...

BTW: I had 550 units active at the time. Reduced that to 400, then realized that my next turns production would hit the limit again. So decided to just start over again.
