We?re contacting everyone we know of on the Mac forum to make sure that you?re aware of what?s happening with CFC?s GOTM-17, the very popular game of the month. Cracker has customized the game so that we can play virtually the same game as the PC and PTW players. This month, for example, we can play as Carthage ­ a PTW civ! We view this as a tremendous and unexpected opportunity to join the Civ3 gaming mainstream, and hope that you agree. If you are interested in playing along, please make sure to send him your results (win or lose), as he will need to see a certain level of interest from the Mac players in order to continue modifying the game for our benefit each month. There is now a GOTM installer at the CFC mac forum (Mac Tournament). It is created by AlanH, but currently works with x.2 for now. It will install everything you need to play up to GOTM23. You may wish to copy your civ folder to another location and upgrade it for the GOTMs, so you can easily select which app you wish to play.
