Installed CIV 3 on my new G5 played for awhile then quit, installed MS OFFIC MAC and then CIV3 no longer worked. got the error 'the application civilization III has unexpectantly quit. The system and other applications are not affected' I reinstalled the game but got the same errors. Not sure what to do now?

First you have to see if uninstalling Office will at least help, granted you havn't gotten to far in depth as far as setting you preferences. If uninstalling office helps, then we can try a custom install of office and selectively install components skipping components that would be causing the conflict.

Also try opening the console and setting it to automatically open the error log. This will open when CIV III crashes and will list something that will tell you what it was doing whilst it crashed. The end of the log text will show the last thing that CIV tried to do, however it is definately written for programmers.
