My friend and I have been playing this game for a few weeks now, and we were getting very close to the end when it stared to drop one of us at the beginning of the turn.

I'm the host (justo) and I usually see the waiting for friend pop-up then he gets dropped.

We play over DSL with updated Win XP systems and both have 512 RAM. Anyone have ideas why the game is dropping one of us?

Skycutter, if the other PC can handle it, you may want to try hosting the game on that one. That worked in a similar situation with my brother and I.

Good luck!

It's probably some incompatibility between hardware and XP (or just hardware). Is your hardware listed on the XP "good" list? I have a home-grown system and have had very few problems.

I think XP can be very picky. A couple of my friends have it without many (if any) problems. Its been a crashup-derby on mine as well as a couple others I've spoken to.

I think its probably the hardware compatibility. All my hardware is big name products, so I don't know why it would have any problems, but it does.

Maybe its just Gremlins.
