I thought with this expansion of play the world that when you have an Aircraft Carrier off your coastline
that you should be able to Place
a Helicopter on it instead of just 4
Fighters and Bombers
Why is this Thought so unrelistic ?
particularly when this happens on real
Navy and Warships..!!!!!

I never use helicopters. I haven't found a use worth paying for yet.

If you've noticed, with the sole exception of an army (which is NOT unloadable), no unit that is a container can go in another container unit. My theory is that if you did that, it would rip a hole in the space time continuum and this plane would collapse into a pocket dimension...oh way, that's putting a portable hole in a bag of holding...

Anyway, it's got something to do with load/unloadable container units.

Either way, helicopters suck...although in Conquests, at least they can carry three units...but still no non-infantry units...

these hellicopers are more like what have should have been in Civ2, because the AI in that game always fortified troops all over the place, which does not happen in civ3, in civ3 they attack you or menace you, but they never stay still, allthough when building a scenario i always change their properties to 16 attack and 4 defence, at least this way it has a use for defending a city, as for carrying troops, a long range bomber with paratroopers would be so much more better! ... especially for infiltrating deep into enemy territory!

Now there's an idea Leo, plonk a load of transports (the boat type) in a helicopter, and fly them across the continent instead of sailing round
