Do they still make software for macs? Seriously, I don't know if they will be a mac PTW. I think it would depend on how mac sales for civ3 went. They would need to see enough demand to make it worth it. Looking at how long PTW has been out I would assume that at this point there are no plans to release a Mac version. Maybe someone will port Conquest to the mac and then you wouldn't need PTW.

There is no demand? There are atleast 5 people in this forum that would by it including myself...I am telling you once we start some trouble from being totally ticked off that there wont need to be ANY DEMAND!!!

I seriously think it has nothing to do with sells. The way a companies corporate structure may haver worked to keep the MAC users down and out in CIV WORLD my be like this (keeping it short, brevity is the sould of wit):

You got Atari, Inforgames and Firaxis.
Atari being the big player in the three respectively probably has some oblivious view on the gaming market...their tendency is to see Mac user and expecially the programmers as witless and unused. At the beginning of CIV when Firaxis was more in control I am sure it was the Mac "code porter's" who were look on as being important. Well you have the hige success of CIVIII and Atari's need to wrestle in the control. well their take on the mac programmers life is pretty bleak so they see no need for firaxis to have them so they issue them PC's 2 years old with windows millenium on them and say leave your AppleII loving days behind because we have CIV PTW to come out with. Be a team player, keep the Steve Jobs animated special unit of of the expansion...we are sticking with Elvis here.
Oh and one other thing, take down your apple stickers or pack up your belongings.
You know it could be true that I am a little Clarovoyant.

But there is always hope...
