I've highlighted this a bit, so don't think it's something the game's doing.
As you can see, his borders are pressed up against his city.
Taking bets on how long until flip

I've actually seen times when they don't - though very few. Hopefully, it won't be too long.

If he's got a LOT of troops in there, it may not. 1-2 defenders, I'd say in about 15 turns.

Grish, this is precisely what I was talking about in the culture mongering thread. Go and read what I said VERY CLOSELY, it specifically states that when cities are arranged two spaces apart, the ones with the highest culture will win the contested spot.

Seek not only to hear, but to listen. Seek not only to see, but to observe. Seek not only to read, but to understand.

Well, I missed that part
I placed it as close as possible to his border to flip him. I still think you can push his borders without being right next to him... Right now I can't try it though

And.. as an update, this city no longer exists.. I had to flip it at the point of a bayonet

Yesssssss.. I'm at war with Egypt, but I got a MPP with Zulu first

Probably a stupid question here but... why is your minimap only showing terrain?

It's not a stupid question at all. You can flip between the "normal" view (showing cities) to this "terrain only" view by pressing the "T" icon right next to the mini-map.

Grish, I noticed your cites are quite far from one another, is that a typical layout for you? Don't you have too much corruption/waste?

ADDED: By "right next to", I mean on the left side of the frame.

Yes... Actually... My corruption is a bugger.

If I get TOO close, I'll overlap fat x's.. Or will I?
This is still my 1st game (technically 2nd, depending on how ya look at it)
I'm still feeling my way through it.

If you were asking specifically WHY it was like that as opposed to how.. it was because I was looking for something.. It's been a while, don't remember what
