I would like to see the return of the casualties list. I liked to review the units that I had lost and the glorious victories reflected in the huge numbers of enemy troops destroyed!
I miss the wonder videos too. Without being able to buy the wonders outright, completing a wonder deserves a celebration.

Great list guys

I'd like to see allied states be a bit more diplomatically open as they were in Civ2 (and alpha centauri). If you contacted your history long ally and asked to trade for a tech you obviously can't afford (in SMAC or civ2), your ally would flat out give it to you to saying it's a pleasure to aid their ally (can't go to that well too often though... It ends the diplomatic contact and they won't listen to you again for a few years). In civ3 you can give another civ 20 techs for free and have them smile, but the second you ask for a tech from them they laugh at you or charge as much as they possibly can. I remember several civ2 instances where my more powerful ally gave me the gunpowder tech allowing me to appropriately defend myself from an invasion of my lands.

The ability to combine your forces in SMAC was an amazing addition as well. You could put your units into other allies stacks (hehe, I remember one game where my garrison units where front line defending an allies capitol).

Bring back Fundamentaslism just lower down the military upkeep and stuff under this goverment.

Facism and fundamentalism are pretty close to the same... Though facism is C3C only. Iran is probably be the closest present day Fundamentalist state.

Th casualty screen would be great (although civ2 casualties list was a little screwy at times... I'd imgaine with a little creativity on the programmers side it could be great)
