To everyone, I am new to this group but a veteran Civ player. I used to be able to play over the LAN when I had PTW, but now that I got Civ3 complete, I cannot host local games over the LAN. Does anybody care to help me out in detail over email or IM? This is a problem I nor my techie friends have been able to solve so far, not for lack of trying either. Thanks!

I'm having a similar problem.  When Complete first came out, my husband and I were able to set up two real players, so we could play in locked alliance against the AIs.  Unfortunately, that cd was damaged.  After waiting a few years for Complete to be re-released, I find that I cannot figure out how to set up two real players on my own PC (not Lan - I only have one PC).  The new version seems to be exclusively for online play.

Am I missing something?  Is it still possible to set it up for two real players?  If so, how?

Thanks
