Can someone - anyone - PLEASE tell me how to delete saved games on Civ3 Conquests? I think all of my saved games are slowing down my gameplay. I've even tried reinstalling the game and yet the saved games reappear. Help!

In Vanilla you just have to delete all the files in the saves folder in the folder you installed civ in. I don't think it'll be different with C3C.

Double click my computer>double click c:drive>double click program files>double click infogames interactive>double click civlll folder>double click conquest>right click saves and select create shortcut, place it on your desktop>double click saves>select all>select delete.
Now you only need to open the shortcut to delete your saves in the future.

I think all of my saved games are slowing down my gameplay.


Those are pretty much text files sitting there and will have no effect on your computer speed unless you're out of harddrive space. Cleaning up the extra saves is kinda nice though

Seared is correct about the save files, but I just thought that you might want to do a defrag if you have not done one in a long while ... can't hurt.

Greetings!

Saves could slow down the game speed if you have so many that it takes time to open up the saves for access.

For example- if it takes his computer .2 seconds to access 1 save, it will take 10 seconds to access 50 saves (yes, you can have that many).
