10) 1250 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzz

12) 1200 BC- Philosophy discoverd! Wahoooo! Free Tech!!!! Map Making taken. Currency next!
13) 1175 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
14) 1150 BC- India discovered way to the north. They are bass ackwards!
15) 1125 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
16) 1100 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
17) 1075 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZzz
18) 1050 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
19) 1025 BC- Babylon is building the great lighthouse!
20) 1000 BC- Inca demands Map Making. Given that we've got two cities with barracks, both producing spearmen this turn I tell Inca to kiss off... and they promptly declare war on us. Thems the breaks. America is building the Great Wall. Oh Great!

Take her away.

So sorry you are inheriting a war. I'm sure you'll know wht to do with it. I've started a Temple in our capital so that we may begin a wonder there afterwards. I've got a settler on location ready to build a new city in the NE. One more settler is on the way in our Desert Bazar. I don't think much will come of this current war as we're not quite ready to go on the war path, but the Incas will for evver have a black mark on their reputation.

Cheers.

I built an embassy in the USA. Washington has 5 spears, 7 warriors, 1 swordsman, and a settler in it. However, their only city improvement (besides the Palace) is a temple.

1. 975: Our Dromon bombards an inca warriortaking 1 hp from it. I'm going to keep it just south of Euphoria Canal, and burn all the units that try end enter the small strip of land.

Founded Dune.

2. 950: Bambarded a second warrior with hot liquid fire. This warrior is not so lucky, and loses all but one hp. These Dromons are comming in handy. I'm going to turn Constantinople into a Dromon factory, starting with the construction of a suitable harbour.
3. 925: Bombarded a third warrior and took him down 1hp. A horseman has moved just south of Euphoria. Stil not a serious threat.

babylonians demand Mystisism, I tell them to F* off, he declairs war on us. Meh, A few Dromons will show him who's boss. I don't really know what he was thinking, they are on a seperate island, and have not discovered Map Making.

4. 900: The first Inca unit enters our territory. Its a horseman, and he is immediatley bombarded, taking 1 hp. There is another horseman there to take its spot.

Great thing about all this war, is that every city has an extra happy citizen, this might prove to be an optimal time to grow.

I give India Horsebackriding for 225 gold.

5. 875: The Inca now have 1 horse and 2 warriors in our territory. i bombard and get the horseman dwon 1hp. They also have 4 warriors and a spear reinforcemants.

***Battle Report*****
The Inca attack Euphoria Canal with two warriors and a horseman. After initial losses in hp from our spearman, all three Inca units are killed, leaving ours with only minor damage. After treatment at the Baracks, all three spears are back to full health. Word of our great victory spread through Utopia like a wild fire, and the people decide to build nice rec grounds for our palace. Wahoo!

6. 850: The Inca are build a huge force south of Euphoria. They have no swordsman, so its not that much of a threat. But if they start winning battles, I may have to requite the Americans to help us.

***Battle Report****

Our spears don't do us justice this turn. We lose 2 spears to two warriors, and only kill two other warriors. The Inca Force is now 2 Horseman, 3 Spears, and 4 Warriors.

7. 825: I hire the Americans for the cost of 250 gold and Philiosophy to fight the Inca.

We lose another spearman in the battle, but the Inca have moved out most of their troops to fight the Yanks.

8. 800:

9. 775: Looks like the Babylonians have found Map Making. A Galley enters our waters near Fishermans Warf. The refuse our envoy, this shall be interesting.

Iroq demand philosophy, I say no, they declair war. wtf, these normal agressive AI, are sure being agressive.

10: 750: Isis Hills Founded.

We have met the Celts, I give the the Alphabet for 220 gold.

A road to the Iron has be completed, time to build a force.

11. 730: Our first swordsman loses to a spearman taking 0hp from it. But our second swordsman is victorious, losing only 1 hp.

12. 710: The Babylonians wont give us peace straight up, however, I can get peace if I give them Mystisim, and they will also give us 188 gold. Really, Mystisim for 188 gold is not a bad deal, everyone else has the tech. Plus, we just can't handle a landing of there units into our heart land.

I then trade them Spices for Furs straight up.

13: 690:

14: 670:

15: 650:

16: 630: Looks like the Inca have given up on Euphoria.

I trade india Writing and 280 gold for Construction. Fair enough deal, we have lots of spare cash. I then give them Philosopy for 330 gold.

17. 610:

18: 590:

19: 570:

20: 550: We meet the Aztecs. I give the horseback riding for 15 gold, and 5 gpt.

OK, its all yours. We're in pretty good shape. i was using Betelgeuse as a spear factory, and replacing all our warriors throughout the empire. Basically, when Betelgeuse built a spear, the spear would relocate to a city with just a warrior, and the warrior would come to betelgeuse to be upgraded to a sword.

Euphoria is doing just fine now, and I put two Dromons south to bombard inca soldiers and ships. Other than that, I built a few more workers, I have a settler heading to the fish in the east, and the rest is up to you.

Here it is:

Start: 550 BC

Currency in 2 turns. 2 gpt. Science at 90 percent.

The Incans have two stacks of a total 20 military units near the American border at Buffalo.

1) 530 BC- Bloody Hell. Babylon drops settler warrior on our continent near the point where our settler was heading. War with them now would be foolish, we shall deal with them later.

***Battle Report***
Our two Dromons bombard Incan galley down to 1 hp near Arequipa.

Contact with the Mayans have been made. They have Polytheism. We give Mathematics and get back 83 gp. Currency next turn. Science bumped down to 80 percent getting us 10 gp.
2) 510 BC- F***ing Bastards!!! Babylon builds Telloh on our Holy lands. She will someday be punished. But not now. An American MGL was obliterated in the foothills near Buffalo. Currency has been discovered. We make peace with Iroq, and procede to trade them Currency for Code of Laws. We have now reached the Middle Ages. Our free Scientific Tech is Monotheism, however, we research Monarchy so we can make an exit out of the Dark Ages for good.

An Incan Galley heading towards our territory has been bombarded to 2 hp by one of our Dromon.

We sell:

Philosophy to Iroq for 440 gp.
Currency to America for 350 gp.
Philosophy to Banylon for 60 gp and Horses.
Currency to India for 40 gp.

No one else has any gold or anything else to offer us, but we'll be watching. We are now filthy rich!!! , with 1561 gp and still making 2 gpt, researching Monarchy in 36 turns at 90 percent.
3) 490 BC- The Incan Galley heads back home, I'm hesitant to attack with our Dromon as it will trigger a Golden Age. Our settler heads back to Constantinople.
4) 470 BC- Zzzzzzzzzz
5) 450 BC- 2 warriors upgraded to Swordsmen. Northbound Incan Galley bombarded to 2 hp.

6) 430 BC- Inca has captured Buffalo. They have a huge force and if we don't move on them soon, they're going to cause a problem for us later. I'm gonna try and launch an assault on Ica, dropping off a bunch of Swordsmen in the jungle right next door.
7) 410 BC- Chicago has built the Great Wall. That's good and bad. It will slow Inca's assault on the American's, perhaps, but it was also something we had been going for. 4 Swordsmen board two Dromon, will land in the jungle next turn.
8) 390 BC- Abe desires to end the alliance against the Incas. We give them Code of Laws and suddenly, Abe is singing a different tune. Alliance renewed. 4 Swordsmen have landed
9) 370 BC- Our swordsmen near Ica are slaughtered by Incan horse assault. Only one survives, he retreats to the Dromon and heads back to Euphoria. An Utter failure. The Great Lighthouse has been built, which means we shall get no wonder in Utopia. Produciton set to Cathedral so not to waste the shields.
10) 350 BC- Zzzzzzzzz

11) 330 BC- Zzzzzzzzzz
12) 310 BC- We sell Currency to Maya for 311 gp. America and Inca have signed a peace treaty? What? After we give them Code of Laws. Bastards. Inca forces approach our cities. Dromon assault in Jungle should help repel them while we build up our forces.
13) 290 BC- Renewal of the Spice for Furs trade with Babylon has been made.
***Battle Report***
We repel on Horseman with a swordsman, but lose another swordsmen. We seem to be in Deep S***
14) 270 BC- We lose 3 swordsmen and one archer 1S of Euphoria, fortified in the Jungle. The path is clear for the Inca to move on the city. Oddly, though Inca will give us peace, no strings attached, so we take it.
15) 250 BC- Babs Warrior acting very suspicious near Telloh. Our four Dromon sent to the north. Perhaps it is time to erridicate the Babylonians from our holy lands.
16) 230 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
17) 210 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZzz
18) 190 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzz
19) 170 BC- Babylon Warrior enters our territory, 2NE of Constantinople. We demand they leave, Hammurabi agrees. We'll see.
20) 150 BC, Hammurabi asks we leave her territory, our Dromons near Telloh. How pitiful. We apologize and then DEMAND her forces leave our territory. "My people have exceeded their orders, I will have them withdraw." What a pathetic excuse. The warrior heads further into our territory. Again, we ask she leave. They do not leave.

Take her away.

We're in a world of hurt. We've got a major uphill battle ahead of us. We could prolly expel Babylon from our landmass. Do not forget we have a trade agreement with them. They're rather large though, so an offensive against them is hopeless. Same with Inca. America will be tough as they have the Great Wall. Greece may be an option, but they are somewhat far away. What do you think we should do?

I think either America or the Inca are our best options. What we really need right now is a massive infastructure build-up at home. When we get a temple, courthouse, Library and Marketplace in all our cities that need them, we should start looking at aquiring new lands. If we could take America and build the FP down there, we would have a large powerful nation. Inca could be next, and if we go the communist route, with the SPHQ, we could have a massive empire with next to no corruption.

I think I'll work on our infastructure this turn. Its only 150BC, so we have lots of time to scope the feild.

Monarchy in 16 turns, changed our cites to focus on infastructure.

The Babylonians declair war on us , meh, now we should be able to control our rightful empire's land, and so long as I can stop their boats at sea, we should be safe. Staying out of a Golden Age might prove tricky though.

1. 130 BC, Dromon bombard Baby Gally, sorry LC, our bombarding was over successful, and we enter a goalden age. looks like I get the whole thing. I'll make the most of it, and try and give you the best darn empire possile.

I give the Maya Code of Laws for 7gpt and 140gp

2. 110 BC: ***The Battle of Telloh***, the Babylonian outpost in Utopia. Bombarding took the Galley in the city down to one HP. Two swordsman attacks see 1 spear killed, and one taken down to 1hp. Utopian losses were one Sword. Reinforcements on the way.

The Celts demand horseback Riding, I flip the the bird, and they run away like cowards.

3. 90 BC: ***The Second strike on Telloh***, Dromon bambarding sees the Galley in the City sunk to the bottom of the sea.

We meet the Germans, and they have Monarchy. I give them Math, Writing, and 168g for Monarchy. Takes 8 turns from our current production, but what else were we going to do with them? I then give them Philosophy for 160 Gold.

Research on Theology has begun.

4. 70 BC: ***The Third Battle of Talloh***, Bombardment sees the only spear in the City reduced to 1hp, but leathal bambardment does not prevail.

5. 50 BC: ***The Final Battle of Talloh***, two Dromon Barbardments take the only spear down to one hp. One of the Regular swordsmen who came as a reinforcemnt Destroyes the city. It was two small to liberate. Our Settler starts his trek to the Northern territory.

One Babylonian Galley sunk E of Fishermans Wharf. Lets hope it had a couple swords in it.

6. 30BC: Utopia starts the Hanging Gardens.

England Demands Horseback Riding, i tell them where to stick it, and they declair war on us, the pathetic brutes!

7: 10BC: A Babylonian Galley was sunk North of Fishermans Wharf.

The Germans complete the Hanging Gardens , meh, the Sistien Chapel should be ours when the time comes.

8: 10AD: The Archeologists Camp is founded near the ruins of Talloh.

9: 30: Sinking Babylonian Galleys!

Iroq demand Monarch, I tell them to F*** Off, I'm getting sick of these pitiful demands. They Declair war on us, oh brother!

Hamurabi wants peace if we give them Polythiesm, HA, I couter offer peace if they give us 100gpt, they say what I ask for is Impossible.

10. 50:

11. 70:

12. 90:

13. 110:

Inca Demand Currency, as we are in no possition to argue, I give it to them this once.

14. 130: I give the Maya Construction for 180g and 7gpt.

15: 150:

16: 170:

17, 190:

18. 210:

19. 230: I give the Americans Monarch and Monothism, and they give us the Republic and Feudalism and Wines.

I give the Indians Monarchy for 280g and 11gpt

20. 250: Saved and Sent.

OK, nothing great came out of our golden age, but i did sink about 10 Babylonian galleys and only lost one Dromon. We are still at war with the Babylonians, but they stoped sending Galleys into our waters a while ago.

I also built alot of key infastructure, and we should be able to get the Sisten Chaple. Once we get Literature, we can easily build libraries in all our cities due to the Scientific trait, the fast growing land improvements (I built a few more workers), and I also have several Courthouses in our corrupt cities near completion.

We are still the world leaders in Science, though our Amry is pittiful. however, because of our new infastructure, we can start focusing on our military to a greater extent. I have a bunch of workers in the desert building roads and irrigation to get some agriculture in our far east. There are some plains around Tikers Canal and desert around Dune that need irrigation, it shouldent take long to get it down there.

I never changed to Monarchy as to not waste our GA in anachy, though you can switch at any time you please.
All in all, we are doing good. We are excelling in areas that we were stagnant in through our last dynasty (namely Science), though we are terribly behind in other respects (namely Military). We have an advanced military, just not much in the respect of man power.

Take her away,

I've looked at the sav, and I'm leaning towards Monarchy. I don't think our empire is big enough, has enough luxuries, etc. to sustain a Republic that will thrive. The most important thing, IMO is to expand our borders, and getting a Monarchy will best facilitate that.

Nice job with the workers, btw.

I agree. Our cities are to small and we just don't have the luxuries to sustain a Republic. Monarchy is our best option at expanding our boarders. I think your turn will see our homeland grow quite nicely. We could also have a force very soon with our hi-tech culture, and our soon to be productive cities.
