Theres a few ways of abusing the score allowing you to get silly inflated values... I'm pretty sure I've seen screen shots of 10k + scores... Off the top of my head.. I think 8000 or around that is my best (Did that with the Iroquios on C3C)

Hehe, I once played a regent game. Just me vs. one other civ on a small pangea map. Won by domination just before the middle ages and got a score of 12k :p

I remember we had a contest to see who could finish a game the fastest. I think the fastest was like 2 minutes or something crazy. It was only 2 civs on a tiny map and pangea. You had to find your rival in the first minute and by the time he had a chance to build his first settlers, you wiped out his capitol. Anyway, this gave you a huge score but I don't remember how high they were.

You can get a score of 36,000 points by making an all mountains map, then putting some AI. Play on SID and skip ur first turn. The AI will disband in frustration and you win!

As for the small pangea map with one rival, I got to about 14,000. Played as the Incans with the Chasquoi Scoutn and that was that.

Regular games, I think the highest I got was about 5800. It was on a small map with 6 civs and won just short of the industrial ages via conquest. Definitely a good one.
