Just in case we start recruiting more interest, I thought I'd setup a D5 sign up. I realise this may take some time to fill up. We could use any form but I personally like the dipbounced system. We don't have to have it annonymous of course so communication could happen over here. The submitting orders system over there makes life for whoever is GM a lot easier and waiting for results is not an issue unless someone forgets.

I might be interested, although depends how much commitment you need. I've never played before, and only have vaguely been looking at the diplomacy threads. Are there any particular threads I should be looking for? What is the dipbounced system?

I'd check out Diplomacy Information, although now that we've moved to Dipbounced the orders are slightly different. Check out the Diplomacy Q&A thread as well as the Dipbounced Q&A thread (though that one may be confusing until you understand what Dipbounced is which brings us to Dipbounced . Dipbounced hosts many games through it's site. This game may take a while to get started so you may want to join a game to get a feel for it. Keep in mind that there are many variants so you'll want a standard game probably one with 48+ hour deadlines, etc. Commitment is only an issue that you meet the deadlines. However, communication with other players is essential so the less you communicate, the less chance you have for survival. That said, you don't have to be online all the time to play. I'd suggest reading the Diplomacy information thread and see if it's something you'd want to do. IMO, if you like CIV, you'll love Diplomacy.

I can GM that game too as I have GM rights there and GMing in Dipbounced is easy.
