You should be fine using IE or a derivative to download. If I had zipped the file, it would have worked better for Firefox, but I didn't want the lack of knowledge about zip files to reduce participation.

It's not a problem or anything, I'm just a bit puzzled why the DL wouldn't work while I've DL savegames from CFC without any problems.

I'm not sure about that myself, but there are aspects of the site that don't seem to work as well with Firefox as with IE. I prefer Firefox, but use IE here. shrug

Downloaded with Netscape, not working, will try with IE Edit: IE worked just fine. Odd. Had to upgrade versions too...we'll see if I suck less this time.

Submissions should be named as follows: [your username]JulyGOTM.Civ4SavedGame You can also attach a screenshot of your victory score if you wish, much like the one I posted at the top of Page2 of this thread. For those that don't know, when you hit the "print screen" button ingame, your screenshot will be saved to the screenshot folder in your "Sid Meier's Civilation IV" folder on your hard drive.

upon re-reading most of the posts in here I found a save was required BEFORE victory, however since the HOF mod (from CFC) always requires saves AFTER victory that's where I saved. Oh well, will see what I can post tomorrow. Scored a 1740 AD Domination Victory, my first domination ever actually.

If all you have is after the victory, that's fine, as long as I can determine your normalized score. No problemo

Just letting you gents know I will indeed be defending my title as champion! I'll have the save in by the 21st at the latest. EDIT: So much stuff to do lately...
