Lol Aintmyprob are you saying I should talk so people can know what not to do? Just j/k so as not to further coop the discussion I simply meant that there are many bright people here, and although I am one of them I am not the strongest in any area like warmongering, economizing, etc. My advice is simply to read the posts, ask questions that need asking (if you can't find the answers already posted), and enjoy the superb minds of strategy and tactics that literally spew forth Civ knowledge. And once again welcome. If you couldn't tell we are a smarta$$ed (did I get past the monitors?) bunch who enjoy good natured verbal barbs almost as much as we love the game. Hope you enjoy it and stay and become one of the community.

lol @ Aint and Zut... Welcome to the boards, my friend! Yes, please don't be embarrased about asking "dumb" questions. Civ is quite complex to the newcomer, and many veteran players even don't fully understand how some parts of the game work. And our post counts increase regardless of the stupidity behind the questions.

Thanks for all your hello's. I think I'm an addict already. Every night when I get home from work I've been playing this game until about midnight. So far I haven't been able to finish a game yet because my PC runs too slow as more things get built. Never mind!!!! Roll on the weekend

Hello and welcome to the board. I havent been here for to long myself but i do know a lot about civilization as I have been playing since the 2nd one. I love talking stratagy and war. My favorite civs to play as are roosevelt cyrus julius cesar I love killing mongolia,mali,arabia and india. WEll and napolean. If you need help I will try to assist you. I am usually here 4 times throughout the day and then for a few hours in the midnight hours.
