What is PBEM and dynasty and how does it work????

ok i can only answer the first part, here PBEM is Play By E-mail.  In this they are talking about something called the diplomacy game, which seems to be very popular around here only i am yet to hv seen it.

PBEM-Play by E-mail- Two or more players play a civ3/4 game one turn at a time. Ex. Bob Plays 4000Bc, Bob Sends 4000 BC to Joe, Joe plays 4000BC and sends 3900BC back to Bob.

Dynasty-Two players play the same civ game together. Each player plays a set amount of turns and then sends the save to another player. Ex. Bob plays 4000BC-3000BC, Bob Sends the save to Joe, Joe plays 3000BC-2000BC

Dynasty is not JUST two...just so you know.  I was once in a dynasty with 6.  I started on second set of turns (Hit return a lot) and got it back with a sprawling, warmongering empire.  I like them...PBEM is too slow for me

Will have to see if CivIII still works.  Also, I'm pretty deep into WarCrack.  I make no promises but will try to get in on it.
