Start: 3050 BC (Please finish the last turn you play )
Science set to 20 percent. Writing in 37 turns. +3 gpt. . We have 45 gp in the treasury.
We currently find ourselves in a state of harmonius peace with the known world, with knowledge of the Greek tribe. Alexander is quite polite towards our people.
We find ourselves slightly behind Greece in technology, as they have Warrior Code and we do not.
Goals for this session: 1.) Found second city (thanks Rodent) 2.) Scout out the lay of the land (thanks again). 3.) Establish 3rd City.
1) 3000 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
2) 2950 BC- Pasargade founded. Science rate set to 90 percent, Writing in 26 turns.
3) 2900 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
4) 2850 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
5) 2800 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
6) 2750 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
7) 2710 BC- Spear Built in Persepolis. Settler Started.
8) 2670 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
9) 2630 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
10) 2590 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
11) 2550 BC- Zulu Scout spotted West of Pasargade. WE trade Alphabet and 10 gold to Zulu for Pottery (Cermonial Burial and Warrior Code also available). Subsequently we contact Greece and trade Pottery for Warrior code and 8 gold! Huzzah!
12) 2510 BC- Worker built in Pasargade. You will come to find that I value workers very much in this game. Warrior started.
13) 2470 BC- settler built in Persepolis. Warrior started, for southern scouting purposes.
14) 2430 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz
15) 2390 BC- Susa founded, somewhat inbetween Persepolis and Pasargade. Minimal overlap with each city. Archer started.
16) 2350 BC- Warrior completed in Persepolis, heads south. Granary started (why I got Pottery over CB, from Zulus).
17) 2310 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
18) 2270 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
19) 2230 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
20) 2190 BC- Pink colored Civ spotted to the south of Pasargade.
Goals for this session: 1.) Found second city (thanks Rodent) 2.) Scout out the lay of the land (thanks again). 3.) Establish 3rd City.
1.) Success
2.) Success, although there is much more work to do.
3.) Success. See if you can build off of this, after we get our Granary.
Writing in 6 turns. Science at 90 percent. 0gpt.
Alright. She's all yours. I'd like to see you copy and past this report and use it similarly. Don't try and remember everything. Edit it as you play each turn. For awhile, we won't have much to fill in, hence frequent use of the ZZzzzzzzz... It looks like we might be squashed in, forcing us to go on the offensive. Maybe it wise we go after Iron Working next to see if we will be making use of our UU. On second though, we can get Ironworking from either of our neighbors. See if they will take Writing for it. Do not be afraid to give them as much gold as they want. That's what the gold is there for. Beyond that you can pick what tech we go after.

I don't know what is the deal with Luckyfoot, I couldn't play his either. But I could play yours. Maybe we have to just exclude him from here.
Anyways, here is my report!
Start: 1500 BC
Science set to 80 percent. Polytheism. +1 gpt. . We have 74 gp in the treasury.
We have met the French, Germans, Egyptians, Greeks, Zulus, and Babylonians. We are at peace with all.
In the technology race we are even or slightly ahead of all of our neighbors. We are not behind anyone. We cannot trade resources with any.
Production in Persepolis changed to Spearmen, then to build Settler. That Granary is there for a reason. Rapid Growth, Settler production. Let's use our advantage. Production in Susa changed from Susa to Barracks. We need a solid military base with neighbors immediately south and to the West. This is kind of a lousy start site, so we will have to make the most of what we have.
Because of their UU, attacking the Greeks at this stage is not a wise option, if we wish to expand much further beyond our current borders we will have to go through the French.
Goals for this session: 1.) Found two more cities 2.) establish our military base to prepare for war against French 3.) Wall our southernmost cities. 4). Link all our resources and luxuries to our empire
1) 1475 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
2) 1450 BC- Tarsus founded. Archer defeats barbarian warrior in northern mountains. Iron linked up. We can no begin building an invincible, Immortal army!
3) 1425 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
4) 1400 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
5) 1375 BC- Archer destroys barb camp in north netting us 25 gp.
6) 1350 BC- Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
7) 1325 BC- Barb horseman approaches undefended Antioch
8) 1300 BC- Barb Horseman ransacks Antioch, stealing 18gp. No big loss. Greece builds the Colossus wonder.
9) 1275 BC- Shaka Zulu demands Territory map and some gold. We call his bluff. He was indeed Bluffing. Another Horse barb approaches Antioch (and only one turn away from getting a defender there)
10) 1250 BC- Khazak Barb Horse again ransacks Antioch, stealing 15 gp. Antioch builds warrior, putting an end to the madness. Our warrior destroys the Khazak camp in south, putting an end to the threat
11) 1225 BC- Two french warriors approach Arbela, leaving me somewhat nervous. I've built the road to Antioch. Was going to link up the Incense, but I'm sending the workers up north to link up our Beaver City and keep them out of harms way.
12) 1200 BC- French declare war on us. We defeat one attacking warrior but lose to the second, reducing him to 1hp. Fortunately, Arbela has built their walls. On previous turn, I sent a warrior from Pasargade, so our reinforcements have arrived. More are on the way. With the walls, we should be able to hold them off. Susa builds barracks, and sets production to Archer, it needs to grow and become more productive before shifting to the Immortal. We need units and fast, that is what is important now. Polytheism next turn, science reduced to 50 percent, netting us an extra 4 gp next turn.
13) 1175 BC- wounded french warrior retreats. we seem to be in the clear for now. Polytheism discovered. Diplomatic rounds made to see if we can trade it off. We trade the Polytheism to Greece for contact with Romans, Code of Laws and Map Making, and a territory map and 18 gp. We trade Polytheism to Egypt for Mathematics, Territory Map and 20 gold. Rome is very backwards. We are now going after Literature, to get us some Libraries and a shot at the Great Library.
14) 1150 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz
15) 1125 BC- Gordium built in the north (beaver town). Another French warrior approaching the Arbela. We have the city, and the Iron well defended by now.
16) 1075 BC- French Warrior retreats off Arbela.
17) 1050 BC- Persepolis builds the Barracks, Immortals next. Susa builds the first Veteran Unit, an Archer, which heads straight south.
18) 1025 BC- Gordium linked up via roads. We're going for the beavers now!
19) 1000 BC- Our first Luxury, the beaver, linked to our nation. Our people rejoice!
20) 975 BC- Two French warrior approaches Arbela. As attacking from either position would be across a river (big penalty there), we hold tight and wait for them to move. On second thought, we demand peace, all their gold (11gp) and their territory map. They give it. We are not ready for war with them yet. Now, since they declared war on us, we have a justified excuse for going to war against them later, on our terms. Now we can build for it.
Goals for this session: 1.) Found two more cities 2.) establish our military base to prepare for war against French 3.) Wall our southernmost cities. 4). Link all our resources and luxuries to our nation.
1.) Success
2.) Success, barracks in Persepolis and Susa.
3.) Success. Halfway, Arbela has walls, Antioch will in 9 turns.
4.) We have our Iron and Beavers linked up. I'd like to see you send some workers back to Antioch, to link the Incense, and irrigate the planes there, that city needs food.
Alright. She's all yours. Again, I ask again....Please! I'd like to see you copy and paste this report and use it similarly. Don't try and remember everything. Edit it as you play each turn. Please! We don't have anymore room to expand peacefully, so we now must use other means. Pasargade will have a Temple soon and then we could put a barracks in there and have three cities focused on the military machine. Converesely, we could focus Susa and Pasargade on the military machine, and shift Persepolis on to a Wonder, either the Pyramids or the Great Library, which we will be able to build soon. It's up to you!
Literature in 6 turns, Science at 80 percent, 1 gpt. 174 gp in the bank.

Start: 610 BC
Science set to 70 percent, Luxury set to 10 percent. Monarchy in 11 turns. Polytheism. +3 gpt. . We have 72 gp in the treasury.
We have met the French, Germans, Egyptians, Greeks, Zulus, Babylonians and Romans. We are at peace with all except the French.
We trade Currency to Rome for Philophy and territory map.
Technology wise, we are more or less even with our neighbors, lacking Construction, which most have. We still cannot trade resources and luxuries with our neighbours.
Production in Pasargade changed from the Archer (1turn) to Immortal(2turn)
Goals for this session: 1.) Capture Paris and Lyons from French 2.) Get us some more workers and build our infrastructure up, especiall in border cities 3.) Establish the Persian Monarchy.
Note: There was an Elite Immortal in Rheims at full strength. I'm not sure if he was recovering or not, if so, thats fine. Otherwise, Our Elite units should be on the front line! I've sent her there. When she arrives, we shall begin our assault on Paris.
1) 590 BC- Egypt desires to exchange territory maps if we pay her 12gp. I counteroffer to sell her our territory map, but she will only pay 1gp for it. No ma'am. We will not pay for someone else's maps. IF it were an even exchange, I would not hesitate.
Antioch builds Archer, begins Worker. Gordium completes Barracks, begins Spearman.
2) 570 BC- Pasargade trains Immortal, begins Spearman.
3) 550 BC- Babylon wishes to trade World Maps if we give him Literature and 70 gp. I am sure they have some very extensive maps, however, we must not trade away Literature until the Great Library has been built.
Arbela builds Temple, begins Courthouse. Susa builds Archer, begins Spear.
Elite Immortal destroys Paris Spear. Vet Immortal destroys Paris Spear and Captures city, getting us 5gp. Vet Immortal destroys French Archer north of city. Production in Paris set to Library. Our forces have been moved in to heal.
4) 530 BC- Resistance in Paris has ended.
5) 510 BC- Zulu demands Territory map and 22gp. We call their bluff. This will not be forgotten. Infact, my previous report tells me this is the second time they have tried to bully us. This will certainly not be forgotten.
Antioch builds Worker, starts Library. Tarsus builds Archer, starts worker. Gordium builds Spear, starts Horseman.
6) 490 BC- Two French Archers move on Paris. They are destroyed by our Immortals, we nearly lose one!
Pasargade builds Spearman, starts Immortals. Susa builds Spearman, starts Worker.
7) 470 BC- Tarsus builds Worker. Starts Spearman.
8) 450 BC- Susa builds Worker, starts Library. Rheims builds Archer, starts Library.
9) 430 BC- Germany attempts same offer for Territory maps that Egypt made above. We send him along on his way. The Zulu have completed the Great Pyramids in Zimbabwe. The Babylonians have completed the Great Lighthouse in The City of Babylon.
10) 410 BC- BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Greeks complete Great Library in Athens. Get out! Romans have completed Great Wall. In anticipation of Monarchy, we shift our science down to 50 percent getting us 7gp next turn.
Pasargade trains Immortals, starts on another. Our Orleans Attack Force has set out, consisting of 3 Immortals and 4 Archers. Probably a bit overkill, but we do not want to fail to get the job done the first time.
11) 390 BC- We discover the Monarchy. I plan on transitioning to the new government, but not during our Golden Age and not while we are building a wonder. Perfect timing as we thrust our foundation from the Great Library to completion of the Hanging Gardens, which will be completed in 6 turns. All is not lost. Our Orleans Attack Force will be set to invade Orleans next turn.
Gordium completes Horseman and starts Library.
12) 370 BC- France desires peace. WE tell them to get lost. One of our wandering archers discovers french town northeast of Rheims. She is engaged by a French archer and emerges victorious. For her efforts she is promoted to Veteran Status.
Elite Immortal destroys Orleans Spear. Vet Immortal destroys Orleans Spear. Vet Immortal destroys Orleans Spear. Vet Archer destroys Orleans Archer. Orleans is destroyed. I'm going to try and get a settler doewn there ASAP, leaving some archers behind, and moving the rest of the attack force towards Marseilles.
13) 350 BC- Arbela completes courthouse. Begins Settler.
14) 330 BC- ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz
15) 310 BC- Pasargade trains Immortals. Starts another. Marseillees Attack Force set to attack next turn.
16) 290 BC- Dissapointingly, they say our Golden Age has ended. Ha! Shows what they know!
In our first defeat in ages, a French Archer attacks our Marseilles Attack Force and slays a Veteran Immortal!
Elite Immortal destroys Marseilles Spear. Veteran Immortal destroys Marseilles Spear. Marseilles has been destroyed.
A protected Zulu settler is seen east of our forces, presumably heading to where Orleans was. Marseilles was in the jungle. They can settle there if the want, otherwise we are going to play cat and mouse with them, with our forces to keep them away from Orleans site.
17) 270 BC- We lose an Immortal and Archer to two powerful French Archers in the jungle. We promplty defeat them and cordon of the area to prevent Zulu settler from readily passing.
Susa completes Library. Begins the Marketplace.
18) 250 BC- Tarsus completes Spearman, begins library! A Damn Babyl protected settler appears out of nowhere where we had planned on settling. Phooey! Construction to be completed next turn. Science lowered to 50 percent to stop the bleeding.
19) 230 BC- Damnit! Babylonians and Zulus both plop down cities to the South. We still have room for a city inbetween the Babylonian encampments. I'm putting the defenders where I think we should put the city. You, of course can choose to do things differently.
We discover both Construction and Monotheism. I'm starting Engineering becasue we have sooo many rivers that it slows down troop movement.
20) 210 BC- Persepolis completes the Hanging Gardens and our peoples throughout the lands rejoice! We now move the luxury slider to Zero percent, reducing the bleeding of our treasury. We plunge our nation into anarchy to weather a revolution. Monarchy can be established in 4 turns
Goals for this session: 1.) Capture Paris and Lyons from French 2.) Get us some more workers and build our infrastructure up, especiall in border cities 3.) Establish the Persian Monarchy.
1.) Partial success. Paris has been captured. Orleans and Marsailles have been destroyed, and Lyons is in our sights.
2.) Success! 3 or 4 more workers completed, and our infrastructure has been vastly improved.
3.) Failure. Although we are currently in revolution to establish the Monarchy.
Alright. She's all yours. We've practically rendered the French useless. I'd recommend capturing Lyons so that one day we may have access to Dyes. We could also probably plant another city inbetween Paris and Lyons. After that, we could probably make peace with the French and either focus on nation building OR preparing to push back Babylon. You can get the city I have plotted out in 3 turns, of you can go east and settle inbetween Paris and Lyons. We have an elite Immortal healing, and then you SHOULD have enough forces to move on Lyons down there. Our military is, however, being stretched somewhat thin. I'd recommend building it back up too after the revolution.
Good Luck!
