I thought that this forum was not lively enough so i decided to start a game like Dave's Walkthrough game but a little less detailed (since i play large chunks of 70-100 turns)

Settings are-

Civ III vanilla (That means no one else can play it)

My civ- Random

Enemy Civs- Random

Barbarians- Roaming

Map Size- Standard

Map Type - Pangaea

That's all the Basic Settings. I am going to play the Turns soon after so you will have the first set by tommorow. I wont give Turn by turn Description but i will highlight the Important points of the game and Lots of ScreenShots!

O.K From the Lucky Draw i got the Persians . Hmm, we can try.

Time Played-4000 B.C to 1200 B.C

Map- We are Neighbours to Pleasent Babylon and Japan.

Turns- We founded 12 cities. We have Iron and Horses Both!!!! We have Traded with Babylon and Japan. We are Stronger than Both in Power. Its Immortal Time, Lets Slice through Some Spearmen! Eliminating Japan First will be better Since Samurai are a Pain to kill, Even with Knights. Also we are building Great Library

Coming Turns- Make 7 Immortals, Invade Japan, Reduce them to Rubble.

Finish a Great Wonder

Get Libraries up after Japan Mission.

Why did you decide to go the huge overlap route? I never tried it myself.

Whats it called, "ICS"? Infinite City Sprawl?

Yes, To all your Questions Dunedein. It works out quite well in Early Times when Units cost less, In Later Stages, We can Wrap up some towns to make some Cities Metros.

O.K From the Lucky Draw i got the English. Hmm, Not too good but we can try.
Take that back!...

Interesting, I've never plonked down cities that close in a game, even knowing that I'll disband them later... Wouldn't work in cIV. Might try it next time I play civ III

Zone,  yes you are right it doesn't work in CivIV, however in CivIII there is no reason I have found not to...  It is the only way I played after somewhere around Spring of '03... When I managed to get to Monarch difficulty...  I ended up doing this to combat the effects of corruption.  Sounds strange, to fight corruption we will just cause more of it?  but really,  I just stopped allowing hospitals to exist in all but the best city locations.

Hell, My civ III got Corrupt!!! And I had to Reinstall! So the .SAV file is lost, I will have to try a new one from scratch. I will update the Opening Post Accordingly.

Thank you

If I have to re-install I always move my save files somewhere else so I can move them back again afterwards.
