If I will capture it, my units will get trapped inside. If I will raze it, my units will get thrown away to territories of tertiary importance to the south. I can't sign open borders, because the guy doesn't like me.

Is there any reason why you can't capture it and then use a transport to get your troops out?

See, now this is where paratroops come in handy!

In this particular case I could capture the city and then use my transports to pick them up, but if I didn't have any?

On the other hand it is preferable to raze this city, because who needs a city that hasn't got almost any tiles to work on? If I raze it, my troops will be thrown away to the nearest land tile that can be occupied, and I'm afraid it will be towards south. Due south there are only two handicaped cities that are also only worth razing. In that case I would have to swim with my transports all the way around the continent to get those troops back to combat zone.

If the guy already doesn't like you enough to sign an Open boarders....  I would think it might be helpful to have some units on that southern border for resource starving tactics in your next war.   hehehe...   Or there is always take only the units you need, knowing they wont be coming home (disband)

His destruction is also in my plans, since he is holding a holy city he found instead of giving it to me and that's against the will of the world's public opinion. All holy cities belong to the Holy Nation of Chuck Norris!

However I need to get rid of those celts first and then I'll have to think about the French. The war with the French were Friendly, but they hated my tiny filthy vassal. They declared war on him and I was forced in a war with them. And they dare even to be mad I declared war on them! I would gladly destroy that wang kon myself, but here I was suddenly attacked by the The Features of Annoyance Nomad!
