This may be ancient history for everyone here, but I have a MacBook with OSX (w/latest updates) and just got Civ 3 for Xmas.  (I now know there is a Civ 4!)  I also got the most recent patch available from the Civ 3 site (1.22?).  Both before and after getting that patch, Civ 3 keeps crashing every 15 minutes or so.  Can folks help me?  If there is a better forum for Mac users, let me know that too.  Love the game, but it's hard to get momentum going when I have to restart every few turns.
