In surfing the web I often come across things I think would be great to post. Political and Religious satire that just begs for posting. But some would be best not posted to a "HOT" topic. It would inflame it further. And we could really use a few laughs here. Of course one should be reflective of others. I wouldn't post anything here that would come across as a personal attack. But laughing at ourselves is good medicine. This is P&R. Nothing asks for humor more than that. I'll jump first. (In a very short time) "See ya'll. It's been real!" I should have posted this right from the start but did not feel it was needed. Now, after all the discussion I see that it is. Since I created this thread I am responsible for atleast making this statement. THIS NOT AN INVITATION TO BASH FELLOW MEMBERS. OR TO PROMOTE HATE. This thread exists to find the humor in everyday worldly occurences and to invite more debate if it is warranted. I believe that to find humor in an otherwise uncomfortable or intense subject is to lesson it's impact. This thread is open to derailrment if it indeed encourages debate, with the added feature of satirical humor. But as with text, satire can be misused. I will be one of the first to jump if it is and invite other members to also be vocal as to transgression. This could be a great and entertaining, if not steam releasing Topic if handled with MATURITY, SENSETIVITY, AND COMMON SENSE. Don't come here with a hateful attitude and look for revenge. You will be rebuffed. Lets give this a chance to be what it could be. Just another facet of 1bc, and another approach to finding the humor in our own thoughts and actions not just others. If you can laugh at yourself, the rest of the world may just be more willing to listen.
