| | The Supreme Court did not decide who would be the President. The Supreme Court did organize the elections, and as part of that organization determined that unopposed candidates would be considered elected by the people. I don't know why 'goose was unopposed, perhaps no one thought they could win or maybe no one else was willing and able or a combination of the above. If there is only one who steps up and announces that they are willing and able, what are the other options? If we as the whole of the citizenry can't find an opposing candidate how would we find an alternative? In essence a poll would determine either to continue the DGame with Mongoose as President or abandon the game altogether. I won't be the one to put that to a vote. If the majority wishes to abandon the game, let them leave and allow the minority to continue. I apologize to the citizenry if the Supreme Court's organization of the elections violated the opportunity to elect a President by voting in a poll, though I think that those citizens that wish to see this game continue without unnessicary delays will understand. |
