Grats to Mongoose. To me it looks like everything went by the book. Although Mongoose was the only one that run for president; he was still elected by a vast majority of votes which the Surpreme Court happened to declare in this thread.

While I understand Bismarck's point, I stand by my signature under SC #2 and the justification as quoted by Von C. Between the lines however is also the implication that the Supreme Court decision and the start of the presidential campaign period may have slipped under some folks' radars. I think it would be a good habit for the various branches of government to announce all such matters in the Town Square to ensure maximum coverage. We can look into a more structured approach as the DGame grows.

6. The President must appoint for himself a Vice President, who shall take upon himself all duties of the Presidency, should the President become absent. Could I get a refreshment as to who our VP is? I must've overlooked the appointment...

I haven't appointed one, which I suppose puts me in some sort of violation, I suppose, but with our smaller early numbers, I wasn't going to appoint one unless needed.... That being said... anyone that wants the position can apply in a pm.
