I've got a g4 with a 750MHz, 750M ram, no upgrade on video card. I can run Civ4, but VERY slowly and no crashes yet. I can only play tiny worlds. Is it possible to upgrade to improve performance and if so, what is more important a video card or a processor upgrade?

Fraxis says on the box that Civ4 is not compatible with processor upgrades, is this true? The game also says it wont run on my machine, but it does.

Well, your processor is too slow. It says it needs 1.2 Ghz, but you only have 750Mhz. I suggest getting a new computer or nice refurb from apple store.
