| My friends,
After a second spree of absence on my part, it has become clear to me that I can no longer, in good conscience, serve you as Supreme Justice. Commitments elsewhere, online as well as in my personal life, are simply taking up too much of my time. Therefore, I have decided to resign my position as Supreme Justice.
This is an advance notice on my part - I will strive to make time available in order to see through the Constitutional alterations currently under vote, as well as the Presidential elections. After that, however, I will take my leave. I will also recommend the Senate to dismiss my absent colleague Von Clausewitz at that same time, so the People may elect a fully staffed Court from scratch.
It should be noted that the alterations currently under vote, as well as the one recently passed, are - strictly speaking - unconstitutional, because they have not been presented by the Supreme Court. This is due to a failing on the part of the Court and I, for one, do not intend to make a stink about it. I will leave a recommendation to the next pair of Justices to render decisions in favor of these alterations with all due haste, placing the greater good of the community above the letter of the Constitution in this exceptional matter.
Now that the official-sounding stuff is out of the way... 
Sorry for not being here lately guys, but it's been screaming busy around these parts and I simply can't keep up the way I should. It's been a lot of fun helping this DGame get on its feet and seeing the Constitution (which is sort of my baby  ) work out pretty well. I'm glad the current Senate is taking the initiative in honing the Constitution to changing conditions, as it should, and I'm glad Mongoose is being such a great President.
I hope you'll find a couple of folks with enough screws loose to take those big seats in the Court and restore to them the kind of active and precise participation they should embody. I'll try to drop in once in a while to check up on how things are going, and you're always welcome to PM or email me if you run into a thorny issue with the Constitution and need a bit of advice.
