That does not look like a friendly start... Deserts to the north, jungles to the east and south.     At least there's a luxury nearby.  Since I'll have a whole month to complete this one opposed to a mere week for the May GOTM, I figure I'll give up on that one and start this one instead.

Took me a while to get back in the saddle.  Didnt expand fast enough up front and had some initial trouble with germany but overcame that.

This is going to be close.  I don't remember my score exactly, but it is very close to what rgndvo had....
