*raises hand*

I'm interested in a Warlords game..

Perhaps with a classical era start to get things going more quickly (like the current GOTM). It seemed to work well.

2 player game on a small map with some AI or should we risk 3 player?

Warlords, classical start, small map, 2 player with the AI filling the remaining slots sounds good to me. I'll take Julius Caesar, if you don't mind. Say, Noble if you're up to that?

Edit: sent you a pm.

1st turn is complete... I renamed this thread and we can use it for later discussion...

For the record, Agamemnon is Rome (JC), while I have selected mighty Carthage....

The Roman Empire is a curse on the planet, only the might of Carthage will lead the peoples of the earth to prosperity.

The iron swords of the Romans shall bring about the Peace of Rome, which will unite civilizations into a golden age that will never be surpassed. Resist if ye will, but know that your time is short, Carthaginians. Ye cannot defeat the Iron Eagle of Rome.

O Dear God..... If we are going to break out the "ye"s, then this thread is doomed to degenerate into confusion faster than I thought..

Caesar's Log, 3920BC: We seem to have found an excellent place to settle. Plenty of interesting looking plants that our wizards say will be useful to our growth, and a nice looking harbor with some rather exotic seafood. I sent out an exploring party to our northeast, looking for additional sites to settle on and for civilizations we can trade with. This feels like paradise after the long wandering. I must make certain our people do not become complacent.

3800BC: Behold... Jovan Barca, mighty warrior of the Carthaginian Empire, has "convinced" a group of villagers to reveal secrets of the universe.....

What secrets, you ask? Well.... I would tell you, but your scientists could possiblly comprehend such wondrous knowledge....
