Minor question -- do the buildings that affect trade production (e.g., airports, harbors, etc.) increase EVERY trade route it can, or just one? The former, I believe. As for which cities each city trades: Is it simply automatically the three most lucrative cities, based on your current civic/tech situation, (provided it can reach the trade destination)? Or are there other factors? Also the former. Finally, the biggie: is there any way to influence *which* city you're trading with? I understand you can spread religion with trade routes. Can I shift from one foreign city to another, after I've managed to infect the first with Taoism? Not as far as I know. If you're trying to "infect" cities, the best way to do it is via missionaries. It takes a loooong time to get them to convert simply from a trade route.

Emulator of Otto von Bismarck, Master of realpolitik, May he rest in peace.
But the liberals should be careful of screaming too loud ... of conspiring too well ... of undermining us too thoroughly. Because if they succeed, if they do get what they insist they want, then the result may well be something they never conceived ... "They have made a desolation, and they call it peace." ~Tacitus~ ... but a peace controlled by our former enemies.
