I guess maybe i overplayed the game (actually no way)

I guess its things which i still think need improving

I guess its because its been 2 years since Civ4 came out

I guess im just greedy in a gaming point of view

I guess... just... well.. when is Civ 5 coming out?

Wow!  It's already been two years eh?

Well I don't play cIV as much as I used to since there's a couple other games I play now, but every couple weeks or so it's good to start a new game for fun, even if I don't finish it.

I look forward to ciV too (get it - the capital V lol), but I want them to take their time making it and be sure to make it a masterpiece!

I just picked up Beyond the Sword last week, so I'm not quite ready for a completely new civ.  Besides, Beyond the Sword seems to include a lot of fundamental AI changes that would've taken a long time to develop, so I don't know if they were even starting ciV until very recently.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think civ II = 1997 with the latest expansion pack being 1999, civ III = 2001 with the latest expansion pack being 2003, and cIV = 2005 with the latest expansion pack being 2007.  So I'll give them another two years.

i hope they leave about ten years. im sick of having to learn new rules everytime, and the user manual will probably be bigger than the bible for ciV, and im not looking forward to reading that.

In my opinion Civ II was the best, i played it for hours for days for weeks for years, cant say that about any of the other ones.

your logic (new civ every 4 years, new expansion pack 2 years following) does make sense from a gamers point of view and from their point of commercial and work load point of view...

2 more years to go then... darn!

I look forward to Civ Revolutions.  I plan on getting it for the PS3.  I think it's gonna help me with lurring some friends who are too lazy to learn the PC game into the Civ world!!  Hahaha!

For CivV, probably need a Pentium 12/Triad inline processors, 2,000GB of RAM,an HD screen, Hollie duel-feed carbs, a Turbo, and several patch kits!  If it weren't for these CIV games I could make one operating system last for years!!!!   *Dives for cover*

I'm with Swordinthestone.  Maybe their trying a bit to hard.  I still prefer Civ II on occasion.

I took a look at the current preview of "Revolutions".  Very intriguing!  But they've so reduced map area to keep the game playable in two to three hours that I'd miss doing all that exploring.  And of course, you run into other Civ's almost at once.  You can find the preview at GameSpot.

I'm waiting for the copyright on SMACX to expire ... then we can fix the 4 or 5 glaring errors update the graphics and revert to the best of the line.
