Oh dear!

Dave Coast doesn't like this. The garrison of one brave Musketman and two equally brave archers (some may say foolishly brave in their case!) are not expected to hold out too long. We certainly have a problem.

The good news is that we have 10 knights, 2 trebuchets and two backup musketmen converging on this region from the north and the east. We may not be able to save the city but we can meet them in classic lance vs. grenade battle in the field all the same.

Most core cities are putting everything into military unit production. Our siege on Kyoto has coincidently just begun and I don't think should stop for this, though extra knights about to arrive made an about turn and are now heading south.

In other news the Apostolic Palace high council has decided this act is an insult to the faith and so...

It's nice being able to 'vote' them back onside!!! Though we've pretty much broken Japans ability to do much to help and it also creates a weird triangular war between us!

Ruh roh! Do we have money to upgrade those archers to longbowmen at least?

They will probably raise that city to the ground, I'd bet.

Nice job on war with Omega for everyone. At least Omega can't feed Japan techs for a while. Hopefully we'll wipe them out.

I think you're wise to crank up the war machine.

Well they have indeed razed the city.

We'll see if they still have ships out in the fog ready to take them away... if not we have them surrounded and should be able to finish them off with at least moderate losses. We took out the knight this turn.

I think their (presumed) ability to see into some of our cities is really bad! We need to continue building units but they may know where they are.

I know, diabolically disasterous! Just as it was about to hit the boom with all that new food as well.

We will get a new settler out there ASAP to found a replacement with rifles and grenades lining the beach, that'll draw the Alphan tourists in, won't it?
