Hey everybody! Ive been playing on the prince lvl and ive only managed to win my very first game...ive played 20 or so since !!Im getting better when im stacked on a continent with a few other civs, but when im on my own contient the other civs get to me much faster and with more advanced techs than I. I play with Ghandi. Try to cover the Island. Get all the resources. Build as many archers as the city will be happy with. And try to keep research at least 90%. Also, I get all the science techs to try and keep up. My question is...what would you do given my senerio? Ghandi, Prince, and your own Continent

If I was leading India with Ghandi on my own island/continent, since my leader is industrious, I would go wonder and great people crazy!! Grab a couple relgions and get as many early wonders as possible, especially the Pyramids. As soon as you have the Pyramids, switch to representation and every Great Person you get, get them to join one of your few major cities. Have 2-3 cities act as your major cities, which will constantly be building wonders and turn nearly every great person you get into a specialist in these cities. By having representation, each specialist gives you +3 beakers. Having 20+ specialists from great people plus turn your citizens into specialists add up quickly, especially when combined with libraries, universities, montosories, etc... Grab a couple religions along the way, but focus mostly on wonders, not religions. Most of the early wonders give you great priest points, so you will get tons of these. Great priests give you +2 hammers and +5 gold, so you will have little trouble with cash! Hope this helps!!

Thank you very much aintmyprob and General Georges. I was able to sit with only 5 cities, with the worst military in the world, up until the late 1800s before I started getting attacked with battleships to my frigates and ironclads. But even then, they could not drop any solid army on my lands long enough to take any of my cities or even piliage any improvements. I had no idea what to even do with those specialists until you guys mentioned their purpose. Im rolling with joy! Thanks again guys
