I'm up to the mid-1800s. Still a few barbarian cities on the continent. I'm about tied for the tech lead and trying feverishly to win via culture, but don't think its going to work any time soon. Fun game so far.

My game will have to wait until next weekend as I'm away from home a lot.

Raging Barbs with no Great Wall?  You sadistic little....  The question is whether or not I'm masochistic enough to play this...

Nothing too impressive here.  Cultural victory in 1932.

The only thing impressive is that this is just my 2nd Cultural victory since Civ IV started.  hehehe.

I am going to start on this tommorrow.

I had final exams.. plus I wanted to finish up
a good Domination victory from an epic naval struggle
I had on a personal game with 15 civs that I have
had going for it seems weeks. (map- standard,
marathon, big and small, high sea level, prince level)

Sometimes RL things can prevent your
ability to sit at a computer for hours
at a time

So.. barbs.. I come for you..

Well, I just played... and all
I have to say is just..

wow..

I was crushed. I have never seen that many
raging, ticked off barbarians.

I was wondering why I saw a pile ton of
swords heading toward my resource city so
early (along with thier buddies the warriors
and archers) IN STACKS!!!

When I got to the end of the game.. I read
thru the history log and a former neighbor
somewhere north had gotten the dreaded
"barbarian uprising" event and got stomped..
... and I have a sneaking suspicion that
these abominations came from there.

I now serve my barbarian masters...

So.. no submission worth submitting

I'm afraid I'm in the same boat.  I just couldn't get ahead with barbs coming constantly.  I was easilly able to defend but how do you get a foothold man?
