Also, as of the latest patch, there is an additional requirement for AP diplomatic victory to pop up (as well as UN diplomatic victory): You must not have enough votes to win the election on your own. As long as you have too many votes, you will never even get the chance to suggest diplomatic victory.

I realised in the May GOTM that if the AP religion is not your state religion then your votes seem to be significantly reduced. Rome had the AP/Buddhism and all Civs had a Buddhist presence, I changed his religion to mine (Hinduism) with a spy and his votes were decimated. Was I alone in not already realising this! Speaking of which, Did you guys notice we changed your civics using a spy? When?

Was I alone in not already realising this! I was very aware of this. Bolan, I guess no one noticed that you guys changed our civics. lol.
