I played III a long time ago and am now returning to it.  I have a large printed tutoral from a site called bclay.com on how to add things such as units.  I can't log in there anymore and I lost all my old personally created units and need some direction on their creation, not in the editor but in the actual unit file file.  Example:
Warrior Notes File:
ATTACK1=WarriorAttackA.flc
ATTACK2=WarriorAttackB.flc
ATTACK3=

As I remember we had to add something to the file to make it work for a newly created unit.  I am creating a warrior called a brave.
Brave Notes File:
ATTACK1=/WarriorAttackA.flc/WarriorAttackA.flc

It looked something like this.  Any help you could be I would appreciate it.

I used to mess with the editor, but did not know it was possible to get into the actual file and change the text!

Welcome to 1BC.

Sorry but getting into text disturbs this right brained ape.  I did want to say that, if it is the same one, I think there was a "Clay" here who first helped me with editing when I first arrived at 1bc.  If those archives still exist, I don't know.  But worth a search maybe.  Or Admin. here might dredge something up.

I am so mad at myself.  I had my computer cleaned and I forgot to save my units.  I had created a whole civ with its own units.  Oh well maybe someone will remember that site or send me some help.  Thanks   -   FR

Welcome to 1BC.

Scipio... You just welcomed someone to 1bc who was a member 1.5 years before you... and a few months before me, as well...

Welcome back!

Ran into another problem.  I have reloaded my CivIII game and went in to add a unit.  I do not get the Add/Delete buttons.  What am I doing wrong?  FR
