I just bought the 3 pack on Direct2Drive, and installed the main game. It wont let me run the game because of an error involving msvcr71.dll. I am not super techie, does anyone know a step by step process to fix this error? Thanks.

im having the same problem. Ive put that dll file in system, system32, the game folder....... restarted,... reinstalled....

nothing works. could realy use some help on this.

If you search civfanatics forum there is a thread somewhere that links to a site with free dll fixes. That should fix it. I had the same problem, went to that site. I think it was called something like freedllfixes.com, but I am not sure. DLed what they recomended and it fixed it. Advice on MS site that tell you to make a dll file on notepad and then put it in ur win32 folder does not work. It didnt work for me.
