I was minded to compare this site to a sort-of-private Facebook, but, on reflection, that's not right . . . Nope. Here is a forum to exchange views and discuss topics and maybe have some literary fun; post some interesting pics (not Megabits of family krap); flag up some internet sites of Interest; pass on the occasional joke. To me, (struggling for analogy here) it's bit more like a quiet and cosy pub with locals you know and the occasional visitor from "outside"; thick stone walls and a cellar full of well-kept ale. Facebook, on the other hand, is some awful massive city-centre club that serves Fosters lager.   And, you know what? I am not unhappy with that analogy. I prefer the pub.

I could swear there were a couple more messages here today.  One from Tones saying that maybe Rish was sick, and then mine saying that maybe he ate the moldy bread, and then I posted a picture with the dumb ramblings and said I'd be home in 1.5 hours.

Did you guys see those, or was work getting to me?

Work was getting to me.  I posted it in the GOTM area.  lol.  Argh!  "This is your brain on drugs."  Or work.

Well, here's what I posed in the GOTM thread.  lol.

Its because Rish ATE that bread!

He has sent it to me, but I won't be home from work for 2.5 hours. You'll just have to wait to see that I have magically launched for Mars, Alpha Centauri, the moon and I won Diplomatically and culturally simultaneously as I have taken all of your cities.
