Sorry, gentlemen, I watched a DVD last night and didn't check my email until today, but I'm at work, so it'll have to wait until tonight. Sorry!

Wait, I mean...
(GNN) Beijing - With the world in crisis, President Chow said his nation would weigh its options before deciding how to respond to the current crisis. With the world spinning into chaos, things may get worse before they get better.

(There! That's Better!)

2094AD to Tones.

(GNN) Beijing - President Chow stunned the world a few minutes ago by declaring war on America.  "American aggression must stop and rap music must die."  An unnamed insider to President Chow's cabinet reveals that years ago, a secret defensive pact was made with Prime Minister Rish to defend against the threat of a public Tones-Scipio alliance.  This was apparently in reference to the public agreements and defensive alliances those 2 nations set up some years ago.  Our insider says that President Chow and Rish spoke privately about curbing aggression from these 2 nations and wanting to keep quiet about defending freedom.

With only 1/2 of the previous Tones-Scip alliance declaring war, many diplomatic experts are anticipating a retaliatory declaration from dictator Tones.  These experts expect a strike from Tones on both nations to occur.

In a somewhat surprising move, President Chow did not order any bombing missions, naval encouters, or any strikes with rumored nuclear weapons, even after the declaration of war was made official.  Our insder scoffed at President Chow and his supposed honor and for feeling "slimey" for playing along with an anticipated strike on Rish, when there was an agreement in place with Rish from before.  "He is trying to be "honorable" by not striking unexpectedly, but is placing Asia's safety in harm's way at its expense!  If he truely followed the code of Bushido, he would not have played diplomatic games with Tones and Scipio in the 1st place!"  No word on if President Chow's war cabinet feels similarly.

With the world spiraling out of control, World War IV seems to be upon us.  May this be kinder to planet Earth than the last war.  However, to this GNN reporter, risking global destruction may be worth paying to achieve the complete destruction of rap music.

Woke up this morning, feeling fine. Opened the curtains and WHAAA!!

The world is mobilising for war! Quick, Jeeves, the launch codes, where are they and have we got anything to launch?

"Umm, I'd advise against any hasty or precipitate action, Sire", says my butler, "You never know where it could lead. Do the words "crack like an egg" ring any bells Sire?"

Ah yes, of course. Mustn't go pushing any buttons yet, though my finger is hovering over a big switch labelled "Release the Dogs of War"

'Course it should read *Release the Assault Mechanoids of War" but it doesn't have that certain je ne sais pas.

So let us see what Her Ladyship and the duplicitous Chinaman do about this. I do hope there's no nastiness.

2096 sent to Rish

. . .Perhaps you forget that you negotiate with equals, not imperial lapdogs  . . .

Pah! Even with both of you conspiring against America Inc. I see little evidence that any 10 of you are equal to a single American patriot!

What are you gonna do! Bash your transports against the rocks on the West Coast to cause an Earth Quake!?! Launch 4 or 5 ICBMs just on the lucky chance that one will get through our SDI and AA defenses!? Move your pitiful stack of armor across the Panama Isthmus where I can bomb them to smithereens!? Or maybe your going to launch an amphibious assault on Great Britain with that overwhelming force of tanks up there in Iceland, or maybe use those Atlantic "BADASS" transports that now exist only in your imagination now that I sank them in the Caribbean Sea!?

I'm afraid you've been provoking the wrong cowboy this time . . .

This is your final warning. Return to port or I'm taking off the kid gloves.

Oh dear.

I have a technical problem. I'm sure it can be fixed but the game keeps crashing. The fact that I've just changed my monitor cannot be coincidental. I have had no issues with any other apps but, hey, there are still bugs lurking in Bts as we know. Scip, I'm pretty sure you run a widescreen monitor at 1680x1050 - any problems? If I can't fix it I may have to ask Steve to resend because it COULD be one of those fluke coincidences. I really don't want to reconnect the old monitor just to find out but if I have to, I have to. The save will load and run but crashes after a couple of inputs. I can't understand why a simple monitor change would affect the program. I am also rather busy this weekend so it might be a couple of days before I can actually play the durned thing. Many apologies guys.
