Hi, I couldn't find the answer to this elsewhere, but I don't have a computer with internet, (borrowing this one for an hour) so I didn't have much time to search.  Anyway my question is about when a wonder becomes obsolete - does that mean that the benefits go away - i.e. the great library and discovering education - does that mean I won't get my automatic knowledge when two other civs discover it?  Also with the Colossus, do I still get my extra money after the discovery of flight?  Probably a dumb question, but I had to ask before turning down my research money all the way so I could get some extra income.  Thank you for your time.

yes when obsolete the wonder stops giving the positive effects... if I remember correctly the cultural value of them still is tacked on to the city every turn though...

Yes you do lose the effect of the wonder but some wonders become tourist attractions. So you can still make money from them.
