Don't think so I'm afraid. Just about all done with Civ 4. It had a good run though

Sorry, me neither. I may never play Civ4 again. Fired it up a couple months back and got through about 10 minutes before I just shut it off. Like Tones says, a good run for sure, but just not interesting any more.

Bock bock bock bock!! BACOCK! Okay, just teasin'.

I guess I'm the last to hold one standing who still wants to play.

You're not alone in playing cIV.

I just find the stand alone version of cIV to be horrid after so many years of playing it. I only play the game for FFH2 nowadays, now that mod just never gets old.

I've settled into a similar pattern; I only tend to play Civ heavily modded, using my own "special blend" of modcomps and mods, including my own "special recipe" XML and my "extra spicy" slow-cooked python brisket - ok, maybe not that last part, but the rest is certainly true. I've only played the vanilla game in MP games with my roommates over the last year, and even then, I've tried to corrupt them to the mod side.

Funnily enough, Bis, I've stopped playing FFH2 (also modmodded) for precisely the reason that it's so fun. Trouble is, last time I played I had the best game of Civ IV ever and am afraid to go back. Oh, it was riveting. Mind-numbingly exciting. I should probably write about it but don't think I have the skills to pull it off. Don't know if it could be topped, hence the problem.

You should definitely give it another go, I simply can't stop playing it lately. I bought a digital download of cIV complete off Gamestop for $10 (they had a deal going on last week) and have been sucked back into FFH2 since. I think my most memorable recent game is a current where I'm raiding through Sheaim lands with Bambus.

Pyre Zombies are horrid to handle with stacks.

Pyre zombies are nasty to use once you promote them to the extra movement promotion. Then they are like nasty suicide bombers blowing monster enemy stacks to smithereens. (extra movement so they are 2 squares away from your own stack)

So... what about a GOTM with FFH2 Mod?

I'm down. If I could make one request though, can the map size be nothing beyond large, my game will lag up on this laptop.

Hmmm, I am so bored of basically every other game I own . . . if you were to set the difficulty fairly lowish, and use FFH2 I just might (assuming I can find my CD and I don't have to do lots of patching) be tempted to participate. Please no bulls**t maps though. Can we even get a 'neutral' referee to screen the map? I absolutely HATE stupid random maps in Civ
